Ezequiel Fonseca Zas is Head of Emerging Business, Marketing and Strategy for Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) – Americas. Based in Miami, Fonseca Zas reports into Juan “JC” Acosta, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for VIMN Americas.

In this role, Fonseca Zas oversees all the digital business across the portfolio of brands for Latin America, Brazil, Canada and US Hispanic (Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central, Telefe Argentina, Porta Dos Fundos and Paramount). Working closely with brand leadership, he ensures strategic alignment of the multiplatform digital properties and content programming within the vision and business strategy of the company.

He leads multiplatform strategy, product management, digital ad sales planning, direct-to-consumer business development, and operations for the all VIMN Americas digital portfolio, which includes the Noggin subscription video service, one of the first OTT offerings from a major media company.

With over 14 years of work experience in leading media and entertainment companies in LatAm & Brazil, he began his career as a communications/marketing manager, and later switched to traditional media, which led him into the world of digital media products: first magazines and newspapers, then new media and now focusing on television, mobile & video on demand.

With a vast experience in organizational restructures and change management, he has worked in nonprofit organizations, governmental departments, startups and multinational companies. He worked as Head of Video business development for WOBI, driving growth and working with key regional business leaders in New York, Mexico, Madrid, Milan, and Buenos Aires in a wide range of multiplatform and marketing initiatives.

Residing in Miami, Fonseca Zas is married and has four boys. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication Sciences at CAECE University and also studied in Columbia Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
